This Caption has been coming up in my feed a lot the last couple of days. I completely believe in signs and every time I look at this I smile. Feel very grateful to have so much in my life. I remember being that kid, collecting cans before and after school, running from trash can to trash. It became a game with my siblings of how fast we could go around town and fill up our bags. I guess that’s why running came easier later in life. I remember walking to recycling center with mom to sell the cans, felt so proud to be able to give mom some money for rent or food. In many ways, this and many other experiences I lived as a child prepared me for times of uncertainty like today. Feel blessed to have so much abundance and opportunity. This month I close The FIT Potato, turn in the keys and reflect on all the great memories, experiences and great people I met along the way that gave me hope and inspiration to do more. You can allow fear, uncertainty and Change to prevent you from growing or you can face it head on and use that energy to reflect, dig deep and come out stronger.

Every year around this time I am working on the finishing touches to the Annual Christmas Mile, a time when everyone comes together to celebrate the season. We dress up in silly costumes, we takes lots of pics, we laugh, we eat, we drink, we are thankful to be alive and healthy one more year. Lots of things are canceled due to Covid and other things happening around the world but FUN, LAUGHTER and CELEBRATION are not. It’s going to look and be different but we have to keep moving forward. Excited for our Christmas Scavenger Hunt Run.
