A soon-to-be family of four in Livermore, CA is seeking a full-time, long-term nanny to join their household beginning in early April. This role will focus primarily on caring for a newborn baby girl arriving mid-April, with occasional support for their then 4-year-old who attends school and therapy programs. The family values consistency, adaptability, and a calm, easy-going presence and is looking for a nanny who can confidently support their growing family through this transition.

The nanny will be responsible for full newborn care, including feeding, diapering, naps, soothing, and engaging in age-appropriate developmental activities. Occasional care for their 4-year-old with autism may be needed, particularly during schedule changes or school breaks, so comfort with sensory sensitivities and special needs is important. The role also includes some household tasks such as tidying play areas, baby laundry, loading the dishwasher meal preparation or bottle preparation and sanitization. The family will also have a night nanny which should lighten some of these tasks. The family is comfortable with babies being taken outside for walks and fresh air and appreciates a nanny who encourages outdoor time when appropriate. While the family values structure and routine, they are seeking a true team player who is comfortable jumping in where needed, adapting to the day as it unfolds, and working collaboratively to support the household; this role is best suited for someone who enjoys working closely as part of a team rather than independently or on a self-directed schedule, especially while baby is a newborn.

This is a long-term position, at least one year, with a guaranteed full-time schedule. Both parents work outside the home, but mom will be around for a few months after the baby arrives in mid-April. The household includes two large, friendly dogs, so comfort around dogs is essential. The family would also love to find a nanny who is open to traveling with them occasionally, with all travel time fully compensated.

⏰Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–6:00pm. Some Tuesdays extend later, approximately until 7:30pm. Guaranteed 50 hours per week.

📅Start Date: Early April

💰Hourly Rate: $40–$42 per hour, depending on experience. 2 weeks paid vacation and paid sick days. Paid legally, with payroll support.

📝Requirements: High school diploma or GED at minimum (child development education background strongly preferred), At least 21 years of age, Minimum 1 year of infant experience, Minimum 3 years of professional childcare experience, Prior nanny or in-home childcare experience strongly preferred, Comfortable with sensory sensitivities and special needs, TrustLine Registration (or willing to receive), CPR and First Aid Certification (or willing to receive), Willing to undergo background screening, Clean driving record, Minimum 3 professional childcare references, Comfortable with dogs

First time parents in Livermore are searching for a long-term nanny for their sweet 5-month-old baby boy. Mom is returning to work in January and they would like to find a loving nanny before then. Right now, mom and dad's main focus is navigating parenthood and caring for their son. However, prior to becoming parents they enjoyed the outdoors, biking, hiking, and cooking.

Dad is a firefighter while mom works evenings. Dad and has a 2 on 4 off rotating schedule. Schedule can be provided with ample notice as it is set for the next two years. The nanny would be required to work every sixth weekend. Must be flexible and willing to commit to the schedule in order to be considered for this role.

🧸Duties will be child-centered. The primary focus should be the baby and his care and development. The ideal candidate has plenty of experience with young infants and has a calm and warm personality. Baby boy has trouble sleeping sometimes, so patience is a must!
