We brought together 30+ local authors in Dublin for an incredible author showcase — games, activities, free giveaways, and so much heart. Big shoutout to Mary for making this all happen. 🙌🏽
The highlight for me? Getting to talk to the kids about their emotions and culture. What came back was honest and beautiful — they feel calm when they read, happy when they’re hiking, at the beach, or watching funny movies. One girl told me she was angry because her grandma was forcing her to do kung fu. We talked about her feelings, how to express them, and how to regulate them. ❤️
When it came to culture, kids kept it real, what did they love most? red envelopes 🧧 , good food 🍱 , and days off school to spend with family ✨

Your creative life is literally medicine. 🧠
A new study confirms that people who engage in creative activities regularly — art, music, writing, cooking, movement — age measurably slower at the cellular level. Not metaphorically. On your DNA.
And here’s the part we love: it’s not about talent. It’s about showing up. The brain rewards the act of creating, not the quality of what you create.
Swipe to see the science — and find out why creativity is also one of the most underrated social skills you can build. 👉

🧠 Neuroscience keeps proving the same thing: the basics are the edge.
🥚 Daily eggs = lower Alzheimer’s risk. But zoom out — a brain that’s protected long-term is a brain that stays socially sharp. Reads the room better. Regulates faster. Connects deeper.
💡 Your social intelligence is only as strong as the brain running it.
🍽️ Start with what’s on your plate.
🧠 Protect the hardware. Upgrade the software.

Rapamycin just got exposed The biohacking industry doesn’t want you to know this.
You’ve been sold supplements, drugs, and shortcuts — and the research just blew the whole thing up.
Rapamycin — the longevity drug thousands were taking off-label — was found to blunt the benefits of exercise.
The very thing meant to extend your life was canceling the one thing that actually delivers it.
Zero shortcuts. Not one.
Here’s what the science actually says:
🚶🏽♀️Move your body 5 days a week → your brain stays biologically younger.
🍱 Eat real food → your gut-brain axis works for you, not against you.
Skip the hacks → stop outsmarting yourself out of results.
Your presence. Your energy. Your emotional regulation. It all starts here.
The body is the strategy.
Save this. Share this with someone still chasing the shortcut. 👇

Your teen’s mood might start at the dinner table. 🧠🥗
📚 A review of 19 studies found that teens who eat healthier whole-food diets consistently show fewer symptoms of depression — and no single supplement came close to matching the impact of an overall healthy diet.
🧠 🥘 The gut-brain connection is real. What we feed our kids isn’t just about physical health — it’s mental health too.

Your mood isn’t a mystery. It’s a message. 🧠
➡️New research from Harvard is finding strong connections between your gut bacteria, inflammation, and how you feel every single day.
Morganella morganii. One bacterium. Quietly triggering inflammation. Quietly affecting your brain chemistry — and your depression risk.
🍲 This isn’t “eat more yogurt” advice. This is a full-on mindset shift:
👉 What you put on your plate is mental health care.
👉 Healing your gut is healing your brain.
👉 Your emotions have a biological address.
👶 Teach your kids early — enroll them in our Brainy Bites: Emotional EQ & Nutrition class and give them the tools most adults wish they had. Link in bio.
Feed your gut like your mood depends on it. Because the research is pointing in that direction.
🔗 Save this. Share it with someone who thinks their anxiety or depression is “just in their head.”

🌎 It’s ! Children’s picture books are more than stories—they’re mirrors, windows, and bridges.
🪞 Mirrors help South Asian American children see their families, traditions, names, and lived experiences reflected—affirming their identity and sense of belonging.
🪟 Windows allow children to look in and see how other kids celebrate—discovering both the differences and the beautiful similarities in traditions, family life, and joy.
🌉 Bridges help kids explain their culture to others—giving them language, confidence, and pride—while also connecting children across cultures and experiences.
When children can see themselves and share who they are, stories become powerful tools for belonging and connection. 📖✨

High school isn’t hard because you don’t care — it’s hard because your goals don’t always have a plan 🧠
Want to study earlier, sleep more, stay organized, or stop procrastinating… but somehow it never sticks?
That’s not a motivation problem. It’s a strategy problem.
Implementation intentions turn
“I’ll try to do better”
into
“If this happens, then I’ll do this.”
When your brain already knows when and how to act, you rely less on willpower and more on routine — and that’s when habits actually last.
Small steps. Clear plans. Less stress.

It’s finals week — and this is what will help get you through 📚🔥
✨ Temptation Bundling ✨
It’s a simple brain hack: give yourself a small reward while you work so you stay motivated.
Not about being perfect — it’s about making school, sports, homework, and life easier (and way more fun) when your schedule is packed.
How to start👇
📝 List the tasks you avoid
Studying, cleaning your room, finishing assignments
🎧 List the things you love
Music, YouTube, snacks, your favorite drink, Netflix
🔗 Pair them together
• Flashcards + favorite music
• Laundry + Netflix
• Math homework + boba
• Cleaning your room + a podcast
⚠️ Important: The reward has to happen during the task — not after.
If it’s “I’ll do it later,” your brain only thinks about the reward… not the work.
The takeaway 💡
High school is busy — classes, sports, friends, and barely any downtime.
Temptation bundling helps you get things done without feeling drained or overwhelmed.
Stop forcing motivation.
Make hard things feel easier — and more fun.
Your brain loves rewards… so use that to your advantage 😉
