Duarte High School delivers a first class education that is engaging and adapted to the passions of our students.

We offer a rich educational program that incorporates pathways to success in both career and life. Our talented staff, caring families, and supportive community work collaboratively to provide the skills, knowledge, and learning experiences needed for children to achieve in the 21st Century. As soon as our students earn their high school diplomas, they are prepared to work, lead, and make positive

contributions to our global community. With this foundation provided by DHS, our graduates are able to flourish in an exceedingly competitive world, and are actively recruited by institutions of higher learning and organizations offering immediate career opportunities. We fondly refer to these highly sought after students as Shoulder Tapped Graduates. It is our purpose to ensure that all Duarte High School students have the opportunity to attain this goal.

Congratulations to our Falcons wrestlers for their huge accomplishments. We finished the regular league season with 13 CIF qualifiers and 5 LEAGUE CHAMPIONS ( 3 of which earned LEAGUE MVPs).

We were honored today to welcome State Senator Susan Rubio to campus, where she spent the morning teaching our Falcons about local and state government and the importance of civic engagement. Senator Rubio also shared her personal journey, one filled with resilience, perseverance, and dedicated to public service.

DHS Biotech students continue their extremely cool collaboration with students from Japan. For the last 13 years, Mr. Radsick’s students meet with visiting students from SSH Super High School from Kanonji Japan at the City of Hope to exchange poster presentations, share research, and collaborate on scientific topics they’ve prepared. They also get to hear from City of Hope staff scientists. This partnership has grown into a truly unique experience. Big shout out to Mr. Jeff Radsick for making this happen.
