Muffins with Mom = the perfect school day start. A little muffin, a lot of love, and the best school morning shared with all the FOA moms. 💐

Our students took our Read-A-Thon Fundraiser to the next level and were rewarded with “Tat the Teachers”. Lots of laughter as our teachers were trying to be good sports while being decorated with adorable tattoos. 💘

Our 5th graders each selected a planet, researched its unique features, and brought their learning to life with creative 3D models. We’re so proud of their curiosity, effort, and imagination! 🪐🔭

Our 3rd and 4th grade students made waves this week by creating their own mini saltwater ecosystems! With jars, sand, hand-picked rocks, and sea creatures, they designed vibrant underwater worlds from the ground up. From layering habitats to choosing the perfect marine life, they combined creativity with science in the best way.

FOA preschool, what an exciting place to learn and explore! 🎨📝🖍️

Our students are so blessed to have grandparents and special friends in their lives. It is an honor for FOA to host these special individuals and treat them to a morning making fond memories together. 💕

The Easter bunny paid an early visit to the kindergarten class. He dropped off a basket full of eggs and ask the kindergartners to help take care of the peeps while he got ready for Easter. Each student adopted his or her own peep and had to take care of it. Students also did STEM activities and even built a house for their babies. 🐰🌸🌱

Excitement was in the air as our students eagerly participated in our annual Egg Hunt. 🐰

During Read Across America week, our 1st and 2nd graders participated in a fun Dr. Seuss Hat Challenge. Each student received red cups and white cards, tasked with stacking them as high as they could. They had to strategize how to balance the cups effectively. Once completed, the class gathered to discuss the lessons they learned about balance and the various techniques they discovered to achieve their goals.

Our students had the opportunity to visit the Alf Museum of Paleontology where they explored the history of our planet and followed the tracks of extinct animals. Providing real-world concepts through field trips in addition to classroom lessons help our students enhance their academic performance.

A big “thank you” to the firefighters from Station 44 in Duarte for coming to visit FOA. Our students learned about fire safety, life-saving procedures in case of a fire, and enjoyed exploring all the equipments and the fire engine. 🚒
