🔷Trivia Fun During Common Hour 🔷

Today was all about boosting our brains and getting studious! 🧠

Students stopped by the Student Union for Boost Your Brain Day, where they could grab some Brain Fuel snacks from the trail mix bar, test their knowledge with fun trivia, and meet the amazing Typewriter Poet! ⌨️📝

The Typewriter Poet turned student prompts into personalized, one-of-a-kind poems that they could take home as a unique piece of art. What a fun way to fuel up, get creative, and continue to kick off the semester!

🔷 Welcome Back Bash Celebrating A New Semester 🔷

Our current students and dual enrollment students came together earlier this week for our Welcome Back Bash, enjoying yard games, tie-dye, hot dogs, burgers and plenty of time to catch up with friends and make some new ones.

The DEF Lawn and Hiller Student Union were filled with activity as students took a break from classes and enjoyed an evening of fun on campus.

With the first week of classes officially in the books, we're excited to have our students back and looking forward to all that the fall semester has in store!

Who doesn’t love a tote bag made exactly how you want it? 👜✨

Students stopped by the Library today to get creative and make their own personalized tote bags! With a variety of amazing designs and graphics to choose from, everyone had the chance to create a tote that was uniquely their own!

A fun way to spend the afternoon getting creative and showing off your style! 🎨

🔷 PAW-psicle Meet and Greet 🔷

What better way to enjoy a beautiful afternoon on campus than with popsicles and some friendly competition! 🍧☀️

Today, our Student Government Association hosted their PAW-psicle Meet & Greet today on the DEF Lawn. Students stopped by to grab a popsicle, play some yard games, and enjoy some time outside with friends.

It was a great way to take a break from classes and enjoy the start of the semester together! 🐾

🔷 First Week Fun Continues 🔷

Today was all about creativity, fun and making something to take home! 🧸🎨

Students stopped by to choose their very own stuffed animal and bring it to life at Stuff A Plush. From picking out their favorite plush to stuffing it themselves, it was a fun way to kick off another day on campus!

Alongside Stuff A Plush, students also had the chance to get their own caricature drawn by a talented Speed Sketcher! ✏️

It was great to see students coming together, getting creative and making memories on campus!

What better way to kick off a new semester than with Grocery Bingo! 🛒🎉

Students filled Hiller Student Union today for one of our always-popular campus activities, competing for prizes they can definitely put to good use—food, paper products, cleaning supplies and other household essentials!

Grocery Bingo brought plenty of fun, laughs and friendly competition to campus as we celebrated the first day of classes for the fall semester.

It's great to have our students back at Penn State DuBois. Here's to a great start to the semester! 💙🤍

🔷 Preparing For The New Semester! 🔷

Yesterday, members of our faculty and staff came together on campus to engage in important conversations, support one another, and prepare for the start of the fall semester on Monday. The day was also highlighted by a work session on 3D design and printing from the NCPA LaunchBox, powered by Penn State DuBois.

On Monday, we will welcome students back to campus for the start of the Fall 2026 semester!

Penn State DuBois will welcome 2026-27 Penn State Laureate Erin Murphy to campus on Wednesday, Sept. 2. As part of her visit, Murphy will present "With These Hands: A Collaborative Poetry Experience" at 12:15 p.m. in Room 209 of the DEF Building. The presentation is free and open to the public.
