The Micron Regional Summer Chip Camp returned to TC3 earlier this week with nearly 100 rising sixth and seventh graders from around the region taking part in three days of STEM activities.
Campers did some fun hands-on experiences, including building small robots, coding LED traffic lights, exploring the nano-sized world, creating multimedia art, and transforming everyday objects into computer controllers. In addition to sessions led by TC3 faculty, the camp welcomed local businesses to campus for a STEM Expo where campers learned about career paths while taking part in entertaining experiments and activities.
The Chip Camp was sponsored by Micron, TST BOCES, OCM BOCES, and TC3. π₯Ό π¬ βοΈ
