Hi Local Filmmakers. David Kossack (one of you) is making a film and needs some help. If you're available, please reach out to him! He's fantastic!
FWD: I've got a film shoot next week (Nov 17 - 19) and am hoping to find a couple of extra helping hands. Wondering if you have any thoughts? (btw, I'm doing my film mfa at SU and this is my 1st Year Grad project;)

The film is a short, dark comedy following a terrible, wealthy family as the parents slowly reveal to their spoiled children that they are broke and can no longer "afford" the children.

Generally speaking, I'm looking for grip/PA help and likely some sound recording. I would prefer folks with some set experience as we'll need to move pretty quickly (especially on Friday) but all help is appreciated.

On Friday 11/17 I am shooting inside a Mercedes Sprinter van/limo in the afternoon 1:30pm - 5:30pm. There will be some lighting needs and grip/PA help with simulating some modest movement. Folks experienced with sound recording might also be helpful.

I am also shooting Saturday 11/18 and Sunday 11/19 outdoors during daylight hours. There will also be some lighting and grip/PA needs. Again, sound recording might also be helpful.

Hi everyone. It's Prof. X. After nearly 25 years of teaching at TC3—I have retired. My last day is Aug 31st. I am leaving the college with mixed emotions. I will not miss grading papers or working on budget issues, but I will miss everything that has to do with you…our students over the years.

Please know you all were the best part of the past 25 years. Helping you navigate this college experience has been a gift I will cherish for the rest of my life. What I am most proud of is not what I have accomplished, but what you have done. Whether you learned by earning all A’s…or learned what not to do…we have made a difference in each other’s lives. And you all have made a difference in each other's lives too.

My wish for you is that you will be able to find a career as rewarding as mine has been. And, I hope we stay connected on social media so I can see and follow your successes.

I’m not going anywhere. I have a few health challenges to navigate and when I get those in check, I’m sure I will keep working in one capacity or another. Meantime, I will be on and off campus until at least May finishing development work for the college…clearing out the office and classrooms…and making sure those who are coming in to teach the courses have everything they need for both students and for themselves.

Be well and know I believe in you. And I can't wait to see what you do in the near future!

Just a reminder, no matter WHO you are, we all start at the bottom. Melissa McCarthy's famous cousin Jenny, was Hollywood elite, and gave her a chance (as a PA). No walking in as if she ran the place. And, it still took her nearly a decade to make it. Stay strong, and take any gig that gets your foot in the door!

It took her over 10 years to become an overnight success.
