Reminder that TOMORROW, Tuesday March 7, there is an open lunch session with the first Presidential candidate at 12pm in the Student Center. All students are highly encouraged to attend!

Thanks to those who were able to attend last Friday! If you were not able - we still have lots of room for you to help on our committees.

This Friday 2/10 - instead of a meeting with a formal agenda we will spend the time doing committee work. We will sort into those interested in the following committees and spend the hour working on who wants to do what and setting some dates for completion of those tasks.

We will sort into:

Student Involvement Committee & Panther Zone
-work with advisor Ray Weaver to review semester events and brainstorm March & April
-identify Panther Zone events & activities and choose dates
-determine if you want to continue with the PZ merchandise shop if so, set dates and advertising plan

Student Services Committee
-Clarisse will lead this group - we have no VP of Student Services right now!
-Map out the semester of SGA Cafe topics and presenters
(Every Thursday at 3:30 starting 2/23)
-Determine who will ask the presenters and confirm their participation
-Start brainstorming questions for the Brunchfest survey

Communications Committee
-This will be led by Lindsey & Brigid - we have no Communications VP either!
-Brainstorm ways to recruit more students into SGA (events, flyers, social media, etc.)
-We are willing/able to purchase SGA tshirts for all members - what should the shirt look like?
-How can we communicate the importance of SGA to the rest of the student body?

PICK SOMEONE TO BE A RECORDER FOR EACH OF THE GROUPS! Be sure to write down all your good ideas, who you assigned tasks to, and assigned completion dates!

PLEASE BRING A FRIEND TO THIS MEETING - SGA can get so much more done with a vibrant group of committed students!

The semester is ending before we know it, but the Student Involvement Committee still has a few events left to plan, as well as starting to think towards next semester! If you want to help us plan these events, or have your own ideas to bring to the table, come to the SGA office in the student center at 12:15 today!
