This year, we are excited to introduce “Wins of the Week!” 🎉
Every Friday afternoon, Principal Morris will celebrate the accomplishments of our GCMS students by announcing their Wins of the Week for everyone to hear! 📣👏

If you have a student who attends GCMS and they have recently accomplished something BIG, please reach out to Mrs. Morris or the front office so we can celebrate your student and their achievement with you! 🎉

We want to recognize the hard work, dedication, talents, and accomplishments of our students both inside and outside of school!

We’re excited to kick off our first GCMS Spirit Week on Monday. We will be having a Students vs. Staff competition throughout the week. Each day, we’ll compare the percentage of students and staff who participate in the dress-up theme—the group with the highest participation percentage will win a prize!

We’ll wrap up the week with our first pep rally of the school year on Friday! We plan to showcase our cheerleaders, volleyball players, and football players, along with some fun activities to build school spirit!

Today was a BIG day at GCMS as we officially had ALL grades under one roof! 💙💛 From our brand-new 6th graders to our awesome 8th graders, the building was FULL of smiles, excitement, and BRAVE pride!
Here’s to new friendships, new memories, and an UNSTOPPABLE school year! Let’s go, Braves! 💙💛🎉

Today we welcomed our newest Braves—our 6th grade students! 🎉
There were smiles, new friendships, a few nerves, lots of excitement, and SO much potential! We are so excited to watch this group grow, learn, and make their mark at GCMS.
