What a way to wrap up the 2026 FFA State Convention! 💙💛

Our members had an incredible time at convention making memories, meeting and connecting with members from other chapters, and growing as leaders along the way.

We are excited to share that our Food Science team placed 5th in the State! We are so proud of their hard work, dedication, and the way they represented our chapter throughout the competition.

A special congratulations also goes to Connor Smith, who was awarded the Louisiana Forestry Foundation Scholarship worth $1,000! We are incredibly proud of this achievement and all that Connor has accomplished.

While the awards are exciting, some of the best parts of convention are the friendships built, the lessons learned, and the memories made together. Our members represented our chapter well, and we couldn’t be prouder of each of them.

Thank you to everyone who supports our program and helps make opportunities like these possible. Until next year, State Convention! 💙🌾🏆

We’re proud to share that we built and donated a blessing box for FBC🤍
This small project is a big step in giving back—providing a place where people can take what they need and leave what they can. Community helping community.
We’re grateful for the opportunity to give back and be part of something meaningful.

FBC’s Blessing Box is now open to our community! The box is on the south side of our church.

Inside you’ll find canned food and hygiene items available for anyone in need. Take what you NEED, and leave what you can.

Our prayer is simple—that this box becomes a real, tangible blessing to families in our community. ❤️

Today we had the pleasure of hosting our annual Ag Day, and what an incredible day it was! We always look forward to welcoming 3rd graders from across the parish and introducing them to the many exciting sectors of agriculture. 🌱🐄🌾

A huge thank you to our amazing partners who helped make this day so special: Winslett Farms, NRCS, Winn Parish & Grant Parish 4-H, Grant Parish Farm Bureau, Roy-O-Martin, Grant FCCLA, Georgetown Ag Department, and the U.S. Forest Service Catahoula District. Your time, knowledge, and support helped create a fun-filled and meaningful learning experience for our students!

We also want to give a special thank you to the Sheriff’s Department for cooking lunch—our students and volunteers truly appreciated it! 👏

We are especially proud of our Grant FFA members who worked hard behind the scenes and throughout the day to make this event a success. From leading stations to helping younger students learn and stay engaged, they truly represented our chapter well. Their leadership, responsibility, and passion for agriculture were on full display today, and we couldn’t be more proud! 💙💛

We love getting to share the story of agriculture and inspire the next generation! 💚
