The DCMoFCA EMR class of 2019 is a group of 25 individuals representing 5 Douglas County Fire Departments committed to making Douglas County a safer place by learning skills necessary to provide quality Emergency Medical Services to those in need

It is with heavy hearts that we will be permanently closing EMS Training Associates. Terry has been having issues for some time now and in December he was diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia and can no longer teach. Anyone & everyone who knows him, knows that this was devastating to him. Being a Paramedic and Instructor was of the utmost importance in his life. Both fulfilled a need in him to give back,❤🙏 that nothing else could. We tried to figure how many students he had trained over the years, but they were to numerous to count and no way of knowing how many patients he treated over the years. We don't want sympathy, but if you have a memory to share, feel free! We thank all of our students, friends & co-workers for being a part of our lives and we wish you all of the best of God's blessings & a wonderful life. Cherish each other & make sure those you love know it everyday! ❤🙏 Love Terry & Amy

This is a blended class of graduating EMRs. We have Dora, Squires, Goodhope and EDCVFD represented. What an honor to be the first blended class or EMRs to graduate in SW Missouri. Congrats to all of you and a big thank you to Shane L. Anderson, Amy and Terry Buffalow not to mention Rhonda and Donna Lung for getting us trained and ready for National test.

Congratulations to all of you for passing your written and practical skills testing!! We are so proud of all of you! We had decided to not teach anymore but, we want you to know that all of you have inspired us to continue teaching! It has been awhile since we’ve had a group with such heart, desire, dedication and enthusiasm! Your community is blessed to have you as well. We are also proud to call you “our friends”!
