🎃This week PreK Counts 5 has been learning all about pumpkins! They learned about the life cycle of a pumpkin, the different parts of the pumpkin, and got to engage in some fun pumpkin activities! The kiddos learned that there are different ways to discover a pumpkin and they used their senses to see, touch, and smell pumpkins. They painted pumpkins with pumpkin scented paint, created their own pumpkin creations, and even had a visit from the Great Pumpkin, who dropped off a pumpkin for each of our friends!🎃

It is that time of year where we raise money for one of our favorite charities, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. All children receive Cancer treatment completely free and their family is put up for free thanks to this amazing organization. We are extremely grateful for the way they are 100% there for the children and families. This is why it's important for us to give back to them.

Please take home the form that is in your child's cubby or mailbox today and ask friends or family to help us raise funds for this amazing organization with the purchase of delicious donuts or coffee. We never know who will need the help from St Jude's next. And we are especially grateful to our families for helping us with this fundraiser.

Pre-K Counts 2 has been busy learning all about ourselves, families, friendships, and feelings! We made a friendship trail mix. We read The Color Monster and created our own colorful monsters. We have also been learning all about apples through apple stamping, apple tasting, apple marble painting. 🍎 We learned about the letter A, its sound, and words that begin with A. It has been a fun month filled with learning, exploring, and creating together! 🥰📚🎨🍎

🍁🍃🍂 Pre-K counts 3 has learned about leaves, and the season fall. They made leaf sun catchers. They read the story "Leaf Trouble". The science center was used to explore different leaves. 🍃🍁🍂
