Drummond School offers academic team to students 4th-12th grade known to students and the community as Quiz Bowl.

The 2020-'21 High School Quiz Bowl team qualified to compete in the OSSAA State tournament making DHS Quiz Bowl qualifiers for the 26th year!

Who is ready for year 3 of the DHS Quiz Bowl annual Adult Trivia Challenge!? This student-driven trivia tournament will serve as a fundraiser for tournament entry fees for the year, t-shirts and name plates for our incoming freshman, and practice questions/prep study materials for our players!

We are excited to see parents, teachers, and community members show up to have fun and support your favorite Quiz Bowl kiddos! 😊 Who doesn't love a little friendly competition? Get your friends together and sign up for your chance to win the title of "Quiz Bowl Champions" for the 2023 Trivia Challenge at Drummond Public School.

The event, in which teams of four compete for the title of “Quiz Bowl Champions” will begin at 10 a.m. Team members must be 20 or older, and the entry fee of $20 per player or $80 per team can be sent, along with team name, contact person and phone number, to DHS Quiz Bowl Trivia Challenge 2023, P.O. Box 240, Drummond, OK 73735. Entries also can be made by calling, texting, or emailing Mrs. Cadena at (580) 541-3245 and [email protected] , with the entry fee required to be collected upon arrival August 5.

This will be posted on the Drummond app today, but I am too excited not to share! Wow! These kiddos did amazing!!! Proud of all the students who went and tested at SWOSU yesterday! Fabulous job!!! 🥇🤩

Lexi and the fellas had an INCREDIBLE day today! This was one of the most enjoyable tournaments all year!!! The kids did fantastic. UNDEFEATED through all 7 games for the title of Froshmore Champions of Division I. There were 4 divisions, and I was told that we were the only team to go undefeated. They lead overall with 1140 points for the win! The runner-up had 780. We played great teams that made us sweat, but it made this win all the more fun! EEEKKKK🥳🥳🥳🤩🤩 WE LOVE US SOME DRUMMOND QUIZ BOWL!!!!!! I wish I could express how impressive these kids are, truly!

2A IV Area Champions!!! I could not be prouder. The competition was solid, but they pulled together for an exciting win!!! Drummond Bulldogs are headed for STATE😱🤩🥳!!!!

Congratulations to Talon McClurg for being selected as a finalist for the United States Senate Youth Program! This program is an intensive week-long educational experience and scholarship sponsored by the United States Senate for outstanding high school students who are interested in pursuing careers in public service. If selected, he will attend a one-week, all-expense paid trip to Washington, D.C., and receive a $10,000 undergraduate scholarship to the college or university of his choice. Good luck in your interview, Talon!

Drummond Quiz Bowl has hit the ground running 🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♂️
•Skeltur Tournament Champions with high point scorers awarded: 1st Brendon Richter and 2nd Talon McClurg
•NAQT top 5 scorer was Talon McClurg out of 89 players.
•We brought home 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place at the Kremlin Trivia Tournament where we brought along 3 teams of 4.
•OSSAA District Tournament will be taking place next Monday! Wish us the best of luck! 👍
We are off to a fabulous start! 🐾Go Bulldogs🐾

Attention Quiz Bowl Supporters:
I am announcing this wayyyy in advance, BUT time flies once the school year takes off! Drummond Quiz Bowl will be serving breakfast at town hall for Drummond Days on October 22nd, along with hosting bingo in the park! Any quiz bowl supporters, parents, or players with awesome bingo prize donations or up to purchasing gift cards for prizes, please do so! You can drop them off at the school anytime between now and October 22nd and Ms. Miller will start a bingo stash. 😊
