The Environment at OakSong School is holistic in nature, where families and children can feel at home in a place of comfort and joy. Every indoor and outdoor space has been designed to naturally provoke interest and provide for meaningful experiences. Our materials are inspired by Reggio Emilia philosophies, in which the environment acts as the third teacher, supplying children with thoughtful interactions. Our indoor and outdoor classrooms encourage critical thinking and investment through long term processing. The families at OakSong School are deeply valued and loved. OakSong School values MUSIC and offers weekly music with “Groundwork Music Project” and private piano. We also provide groovy bus (gymnastics) yoga, animal care, gardening, Spanish for two years and up, and enrichment classes in basic skills using real tools (3 years and up).
