Single eye lateral movements can in fact help out with extension muscle activation. Try this exercise out and see if it helps. Doing just 3-5 reps of 3 second holds. If it does this could be a great exercise to throw in between sets of maybe sometime like deadlifts, pull-ups, or rows.
Let me know how it goes.

Before we load the bar, we train the brain. Eye drills aren't a warm-up gimmick, they're direct input into the vestibular system and cerebellum, the same systems that control your balance, coordination, and force production. Your visual system is one of the most powerful levers we have for changing how your body moves. Fix the input, fix the output.
This is an easy way to get vagus nerve activation. Using a vibrating tool and doing just 2 mins a day can have amazing effects. Give it a try.

Meet your vagus nerve. The most powerful nerve you’ve never trained. 🧠
Cranial Nerve X wanders from your brainstem all the way to your gut, running your “rest, digest & recover” state. It controls your heart rate, breathing, digestion, and how fast you bounce back from stress.
The best part? You can train it.
Swipe through to learn what it does, how to activate it in minutes, and how to build lasting vagal tone over time. 👉
Which reset are you starting with: breath, cold, or humming? Drop it below. 👇
When it comes to longevity, we can't ignore her hands. This is an amazing exercise to challenge your brain and aid in brain health and longevity. Give it a try and let me know how it went.
Your vestibular system is an amazing system. It does so much for us. More than you may think. One of the things it does is it sets the synergies of flexor and extensor muscles of the midline of your body (your core).
When this system is lacking or "not calibrated" it can be the limiting factor and causing reduction in motor output, poor coordination, and can increase your risk for injuries.
Try this simple but effective exercise and see how it can change your output! Tell me what you notice.
Pain is a protective output. Just because you're experiencing pain doesn't mean you actually have damage tissue. You can have damaged tissue and have no pain, as well as have pain and no damaged tissue.
Brain based fitness is about not only about moving at your best but also aiding in pain management. Changing inputs can in fact change outputs.
Going for a walk is an amazing way to train your eyes. Just a 20-30 min walk can be very beneficial for your vision.
