Good afternoon, Rebel Friends!!
We have another busy REBEL sports week ahead of us!

The Lady Rebels have two games - Monday away at Indianola (5:00pm) and Tuesday at home (4:00pm) when we host Humphreys. 🥎

The JV Football team has a week off, but the PEEWEEs have a HOME game that has just been confirmed with PDS. Join us at Rebel Field on Thursday evening at 6:00pm. This is an exciting game for the Rebels, and we need to hear lots of cheer and support from the stands. 📣🏈😊

We will wrap up the week with Friday Night Lights and a ROAD TRIP to Calhoun to support our Varsity Rebel Football team. They have rested up and are ready to take on our competitors. Kick off will be at 7:00pm. 🏈

Please keep all of our student-athletes, coaches, and fans in your prayers for safe play and travels during the week - and remember our cheer teams who are preparing to lead the spirited chants and cheers for our games. 📣🙏

Update: FILLED!!!There are a few new opportunities for volunteering with the addition of our peewee game on Thursday. Sign up to help if you can. We enjoy those great burgers, nachos, and cool drinks during this season!

Mark your calendars for Monday, August 31st, when the LADY REBELS travel to Indianola for a DOUBLE HEADER!! 👏First pitch will be later than usual at 5:00pm. Let's hit the road and support our team and coaches. 🥎🥎🥎

🏁 HOCO RACEWAY DANCE ANNOUNCEMENT
We’re going to close out HOCO Week this year with an exciting event! This year’s Homecoming Dance for grades 7–12 will be held on Saturday, October 3rd—and yes, the race‑car theme keeps rolling right into the night!

Students may invite a friend or a date, but remember… they’re your responsibility. Just sayin’.

And here’s where the fun really kicks into high gear:
The most CREATIVE, OUTSTANDING, and ENGAGING dance proposal—from any student—will be eligible for a special award! More details on the competition will be announced soon, so start revving those creative engines.

Join us for the HOCO Dance of ’26 in the Rebel Café, proudly sponsored by the NSA Student Council.
Admission: $5 per person.

👗 Attire
Ladies: Church dresses or dressy outfits

Gentlemen: Collared shirts with khakis or jeans

Get those savvy proposal ideas ready…
Because this dance is going to cross the finish line in style.

Good evening, Rebel Friends!
The cancellation of the game vs Hebron brings about several changes...In the ripple effect of change, no vols are needed, no pep rally will be held at 1:30, and the Fifth Quarter sponsored by the DeBower family will be cancelled. BUT we will look forward to SEPTEMBER 11th when the Fifth Quarter will be celebrated!!

Reminder that the 5th Quarter is open to all 7th through 12th graders. It will be held on 9/11, 10/2 and 10/16. Update your calendars for food, fun and devotion!!!
