Fellow hams.
Recently we were given a donation of several pieces of ham related gear. Many of those pieces function just fine but need a little cleaning and/or cables, batteries, etc. They will be a big help to our station and mission.

However, there are some items we cannot use. Their photos are below….

1. Ten Tec OMNI D and matching power supply. The supply does not put out any voltage and the rig, when powered with a bench supply comes on but is deaf.

2. Electro voice model 638 desk mic with cable.

3. IC Filter

4. Two AUDIO power amps. AC powered and they do come on. Untested as to their audio amplifying work.

We are asking for a proper DONATION to the kids’ radio club for any/all of these pieces. If you are interested you can PM us and we can discuss it further.

You meet some great people at Hamvention!

Where’s that fox!?!?
Thanks to Matt, KR8E for supplying the fox so the kids could put technology into practice. We built these tape measure Yagi’s a few years ago and using the coax jumpers from Devan, KD8MST coupled them to their talkies.
The HF bands were not great and a silent AO-73 pass, but it was a perfect day to hunt the two foxes and end our 2025-2026 year.
Watch for some activities this summer and some of our kids are headed to Hamvention!
Personally, a huge THANK YOU to ALL of our radio friends and family that make KD8NOM a success.
