A whole state reading together!📚

Last Friday, our SJB Eagles joined readers across Utah for the statewide read-a-thon, taking time to slow down and get lost in a good story.

With more than 275,000 Utahns signed up to participate, this celebration brought communities together through a shared love of reading. We loved being part of a day dedicated to the joy of reading! 🐝🍯

From garden to table! 🌽

Over the last two days, our students picked corn from our school garden, shucked it together, and enjoyed eating what they grew.

It was a hands on way to see where food comes from, and a pretty delicious reward for their hard work! 🦅💙

All aboard for a trip back in time! Our fourth graders had a wonderful day exploring This Is the Place Heritage Park and getting a glimpse of what life was like for Utah’s early pioneers!

Students worked together to push handcarts, visited the leather maker to learn about the craft, and stepped inside a pioneer school to experience a classroom from the past. Then, a train ride around the park gave them even more to see and explore.

The day brought history to life and gave our Eagles plenty of memories to share. Thank you teachers and chaperones for making this adventure to the past possible! 💙🚂🌄

Meet our fabulous First Grade team! 🍎📚

Mrs. Aiello, Mrs. Joyner, and Mrs. Chandler create welcoming, joyful classrooms where students are encouraged to stay curious, try their best, and believe they can do hard things. Through stories, crafts, music, movement, and creative classroom transformations, they make learning meaningful and fun!

We are so grateful for the kindness, encouragement, and enthusiasm they bring to our First Grade Eagles each day! 💙🦅
