Afterschool Childcare Assistant – Part-Time
💵 $15 per hour
We’re looking for a caring, dependable team member to join our daycare for an afterschool position! This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with children and doesn’t mind helping keep our space clean and organized.
Responsibilities include:
• Spending a couple of hours engaging with and supervising children
• Playing, interacting, and having fun with the kids
• Helping with end-of-day closing duties
• Cleaning classrooms and bathrooms
• Ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for children and staff
Schedule: Afternoons / early evenings (after school hours) 3pm-730/8pm
Ideal Candidate:
• Reliable, patient, and positive
• High-energy and outgoing
• Knows how to play with and engage children
• Comfortable with cleaning tasks
• Available consistently year-round
🚨 Important Availability Requirement:
We are a year-round school and are only considering applicants who do not have afterschool commitments at any point during the year (including sports, clubs, or other activities). Consistent, long-term availability is required.
Experience is a plus, but not required—we’re happy to train the right person!
