Welcome to our new 4th Grade Teacher!
Hello! My name is Victoria Mirabito. I am so looking forward to teaching fourth grade this year and being part of the Brookside Elementary community. Here is a little bit about me: I received my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from Saint Anselm College, then went on to receive my master's degree from Merrimack College in Teacher Education, with a concentration in Moderate Disabilities. During the time I was getting my masters, I did a year long clinical in a language based classroom with 3rd and 4th graders. After receiving my masters, I taught at a STEM based school and spent one year in second grade, then moved up to fourth grade, where I have taught for the past two years. One of the many aspects I love most about teaching is creating a safe, supportive classroom community, where I am able to witness my students’ growth—not just academically, but as individuals—throughout the year. This summer, I am looking forward to spending time outside with my friends, family, and two dogs, King James and Oscar. During the warm weather, one of my favorite places to be is the beach, especially in Cape Cod. I am excited to meet everyone in the fall and am looking forward to a great school year!
