If you have little ones, summer has a way of sneaking up on you. Your surviving May-vember one day and making Independence Day plans the next!
Childhood moves in tiny shifts that somehow feel huge all at once. One month they’re working so hard to learn something new, and the next they’re doing it without even thinking.
That’s why photos matter so much. Not just to remember what they looked like, but to hold onto who they were in this season of life. Exactly as they are right now, before everything changes again. ✨

I think my favorite part of this job is that it forces me to slow down and pay attention.
To the little things families do without realizing. The in-between moments. The way a five year old still melts into his mom’s arms for just a second before running off again.
These are the kinds of moments that are so easy to live through without realizing how much they’ll mean someday.
That’s why this work matters to me. Because these photos become proof of a season that would’ve otherwise passed in a blur. Getting invited into that space, even briefly, is something I don’t take for granted.

If you believe that childhood is short and messy and real...
If you want to remember your kid exactly as they were, how their smile took up their whole face...
If you think authenticity matters more than perfection...
Yeah. You’re my person.

What if your family photos were actually photos you loved looking at? Not because everyone’s smiling on cue, but because they show who you actually are; the silliness, the chaos, the love underneath it all. That’s what I do. I photograph real families. And years from now, you will look at these and know exactly what this time felt like.
You’ll FEEL the love.

You might be thinking…
“My kids won’t cooperate.”
“We’ll look awkward.”
“We’re not really that cute together.”
I hear this all the time and as a mom myself, I get it.
Being in front of a camera can feel like pressure. Like you have to get it right instead of just being yourselves.
That’s where I come in 🤍
I guide you into moments that actually feel natural so your photos look like your real life, not a performance.
If you’ve been wanting photos that feel like you, this is your sign to stop overthinking it and book your session.

There’s something really special about family photos that feel like they could only belong to you. The kids are being themselves, no one is stiff or overly posed, and the moments feel familiar instead of performed.
That’s what I aim to capture.
Not perfection, but connection. The real rhythm of your family as it is right now. The chaos & the closeness, so that when you look back at your images, it feels like remembering a season you were fully in.
If that’s the kind of experience you’ve been looking for, I’d love to create it with you. 🩷

Happy New Year!
At first I was pretty disappointed I missed focus on this shot but now I sort of love it. It feels like a memory feels. Maybe the exact details are a bit fuzzy, but the feeling is clear and unmistakable.
Only problem is deciding if I like b&w or color more.
