Our next Perkasie Historical Society dinner meeting presentation will be “Oscar Hammerstein, The Journey of Highland Farm" presented by Julie Flack on Tuesday, September 1, 2026.
Take a journey through Oscar Hammerstein II’s life, family, musical works, life-long positivity, and humanitarianism. Learn how this lyricist and librettist changed musical theatre in both his writing and his mentorship to young Stephen Sondheim. Hear the story of Highland Farm, an almost two-hundred-year-old farm where Oscar lived with his wife Dorothy from 1940 to 1960 in Doylestown.
If you are planning to join us for dinner, reservations are required.
The Perkasie Historical Society has regular dinner meetings featuring a speaker or program. Meetings are held at 6:30 pm at the St. Stephen's UCC, 110 N. 6th Street, Perkasie, Pennsylvania.
Dinners are $15, payable at the door. To better serve our members and guests, reservations for dinner meetings are required. Reservations are necessary to be made by 5PM Thursday August 27, 2026.
