🎒✨ OUR FIRST WEEK OF SCHOOL IS IN THE BOOKS! ✨🎒

What a wonderful way to kick off a brand-new school year at Lightbridge Academy of Doylestown!

This week was all about new beginnings, new classrooms, new routines and new adventures! Our friends spent the week reconnecting with familiar faces, making new friends and getting comfortable in their new classrooms.

💛 We spent lots of time on “Getting to Know You” activities, helping our friends learn more about each other, build new friendships and create a strong sense of classroom community.

🧘 We jumped into our Yogapalooza program, introducing yoga, movement and mindfulness activities that help our children learn how to slow down, recognize their feelings, focus and find calm throughout their day.

🍉 We celebrated our first Wednesday together with our Watermelon Welcome, enjoying one last sweet slice of summer!

🌱 Our Seedlings Curriculum is officially underway, with plenty of hands-on learning, exploration, creativity and opportunities to grow ahead.

The first week of a new school year is a BIG one, especially for our littlest learners. We are so proud of how well our friends handled new classrooms, new routines, new expectations and lots of exciting changes.

Today, our students and staff celebrated Watermelon Welcome Wednesday with plenty of watermelon fun, red and green, and of course some sweet, juicy watermelon!

It was the perfect way to welcome everyone back, celebrate a fresh new school year, and squeeze in one more taste of summer before fall arrives. ❤️💚

Our Lightbridge Academy of Doylestown team came together for our Annual Staff Training Day! This year’s theme was SUPERHEROES — because that’s exactly what our staff are! ❤️💛💙

✏️ Refreshed our Handwriting Without Tears training
🧘‍♀️ Had some hands-on stress release with Yogapalooza
🚒 Welcomed our Township Fire Marshal & firefighters for annual Fire Prevention Training
🛡️ Reviewed important policies and safety procedures
🌱 Doubled down on our Seedlings Curriculum

Our Word of the Year is INTENTIONAL — being intentional in how we teach, communicate, keep our children safe, support one another and create meaningful experiences every day. 🎯❤️

And because superheroes need fuel, our team enjoyed breakfast, lunch and a few special thank-you gifts! 🎁

🧹✨ BACK TO SCHOOL DEEP CLEAN: COMPLETE! ✨🧽

We have scrubbed. We have sanitized. We have organized. We have moved furniture. We have found things we’re pretty sure have been missing since 2024. 😂

If it had a surface… WE CLEANED IT.
If it had a shelf… WE ORGANIZED IT.
If it was a toy… WE SANITIZED IT.
If it stood still too long… honestly, it probably got wiped down too! 🤣🧽

At Lightbridge Academy of Doylestown, we set high standards when it comes to cleanliness, sanitizing and creating a safe, healthy environment for our children and staff. It’s something we take seriously every single day. ❤️
