So special to meet Mr. James Carroll and Ted Ormai of the New Arts Program in Kutztown, a remarkable program that ran for 50 years, now preserved in the archives of the Smithsonian Institution.

It was a mind-blowing experience to learn from them about the New Arts Program. The passion, education, curiosity, and questions. All devoted to creating a space where artists, musicians, and dancers could perform, share their work and talent, and explore new possibilities. It was deeply inspiring, and a reminder of why we create—and how meaningful it is to pass it along through creative teaching at Musica Vera Academy. What an incredible experience we had.

We felt so fortunate to hear incredible stories that shaped the artists involved: Philip Glass, Steve Reich, Meredith Monk, Jon Gibson, Yvonne Rainer, Keith Haring, Allen Ginsberg, and so many others.

Deepest thanks to artist and writer Patricia Goodrich for her friendship and for opening this world to us. Musica Vera Academy

Echoes of Tranquility 🌸✨

A beautiful collaboration at the Michener Art Museum, just steps from Musica Vera Academy.

We are grateful to share this experience of music, dance, and the arts with our students, families, teachers, and friends throughout the Doylestown community, in collaboration with Yu.S.Artistry and Yuki Ishiguro.

Moments like these remind us how the arts bring people together 🌸

Last week in Solebury, PA at the Delaware Valley Music Club, I had the joy of performing piano with Rachel and J. Freivogel as the Gordon Piano Trio.

We performed Mozart, Bridge, Turina, and F***y Mendelssohn—a beautiful start to spring 🌸🎶

Celebrate springtime with Yu S. Artistry Dance Company, in collaboration with Musica Vera Academy, presenting Echoes of Tranquility, a contemporary Japanese dance performance featuring Yuka Iseda, Principal Dancer of the Philadelphia Ballet.

Enjoy a live piano performance by Yuko Gordon, featuring works by Debussy, Takemitsu, Chopin, and more—an original musical creation alongside the dance. Stay after the performance for a Q&A.

Thrilled to share a recent performance with Yu.S.Artistry at Delaware Valley University!

It was a beautiful day celebrating dance and music, and I had the honor of performing in a traditional kimono. This experience was a reminder of the unique ways art brings together diverse cultures and expressions. Hope you enjoy this piece as much as I enjoyed being part of this inspiring show.
