This week our students had an unforgettable day exploring The Farm Zion! Our learners stepped outside the classroom and into nature where they met farm animals and experienced hands-on learning in a beautiful outdoor setting.

From feeding animals to asking great questions and enjoying the fresh air, it was a day full of curiosity, laughter, and learning. Experiences like these help bring reading, science, and real-world connections together in meaningful ways!

Our Thanksgiving celebration is one of our most anticipated traditions that we look forward to all year! This year was full of fun—from games and stories to Thanksgiving history—and of course, an incredible feast. Each student brought a favorite dish to share and they were all delicious! Wishing you all a wonderful Thanksgiving surrounded by friends, family, and plenty of good memories.

Our recent visit to the St. George Art Museum was a huge success! Each of our students proudly brought an art piece they created at school to display, while also exploring the museum’s incredible exhibits. It was a wonderful day filled with creativity, learning, and inspiration — loved by all!

It’s been a spooktacular week at Sunrise Oasis Academy of Reading! 🎃👻 Our students have been getting into the Halloween spirit with some festive learning activities — including “ghost writing,” where we practice reading and writing words with silent letters. The kids had so much fun discovering which letters are hiding like little ghosts in words! They worked hard, learned a lot, and did boo-tifully!
