I believe kid art is art. I use artist quality materials, teach from the principles and elements of art, and I never take more than nine students per class. I try to keep lessons affordable and include supplies with the cost. I believe that anyone can be taught to draw, and that when children are given the tools to learn to draw what they see, this skill will help them in all facets of their life

for the rest of their life. Most of all, I try to provide a positive, supportive atmosphere. One of our favorite sayings in class is "happy accident". We use this in place of the word mistake.
