NYCCT Adult Learning Center We offer FREE English classes, High School Equivalency (formerly GED) classes in conveniently located downtown Brooklyn.

Our students come from many countries but are united in their desire to succeed- to raise families, get better jobs, improve their skills, earn a high school equivalency diploma or go to college. Student Success Spotlight!

Rose began her journey in our ESOL program at the Adult Learning Center.

After completing her classes, she applied to New York City College of Technology and is now
studying in the Human Services program!

Even more amazing — Rose was able to enroll directly in credit-bearing college courses without
needing additional ESL classes.
She stopped by today to say hello, and our counselors, teachers, and staff were so happy to
see her.

We are incredibly proud of all she has accomplished!

Appreciation Post!

Shoutout to BK College’s Victor and City Tech’s Monica

We want to take a moment to recognize the amazing collaboration between Monica (City Tech)
and Victor (BK College) in supporting our students on their GED journey.

Thanks to their teamwork, our students have been able to successfully secure testing seats and
move one step closer to achieving their goals. BK College has been especially helpful in making
sure our students have access to these important opportunities

And by coincidence — they even showed up matching during our last testing session on2/10/26!
