West Powelton Steppers celebrate 35 years with parade in West Philadelphia Despite pounding rain, drumlines echoed through West Philadelphia as members of the West Powelton Steppers and Drum Squad marked a major milestone.

Congratulations to some outstanding young people on their 2026 high school graduations!

I'm especially proud of longtime Anthony C. Drums student , who graduated from and will be attending the University of Michigan this fall. Congratulations also to , a Henderson High School graduate who is heading to Penn State University to begin his next chapter.

A huge shoutout as well to .cafferky and on graduating from ! While they were not drum students of mine, they generously volunteered their time helping Jake and me with our annual Coatesville VA Donation Drive. Their dedication to serving others has made a real difference, and I am incredibly grateful for their support.

This fall, Sam will be attending Villanova University, and Sophia will be heading to Lehigh University.

Watching these young adults grow, achieve their goals, and give back to their communities makes me genuinely hopeful for the future. Wishing all four of you continued success, happiness, and new adventures as you begin this exciting next chapter of your lives.
