Supporting moms who feel exhausted, confused, or stuck
when parenting feels harder than it should. There are no contracts or a set amount of time.

We focus on understanding what’s really happening
so things can feel calmer and more connected. We specialize in helping children, teens, and young adults develop their social skills, self-regulation, and executive functioning skills. Our unique program integrates both the Social Thinking® framework developed by Michelle Garcia Winner and the executive function coaching model developed by Peg Daws

So many traditional parenting strategies don't work, because it really is a different kind of parenting.

So much of the behaviors we experience in ourselves and in our kids, are rooted in the nervous system.

If you are a nervous system has been trained to react this way, then it can be retrained or rewired. This what I program was built to do.

I don’t teach moms how to parent.

I help moms make sense of what’s really going on with their child, calm what gets activated in themselves, and parent in a way that actually feels like them.

Because most moms don’t need another script.

They need a different lens.

2 Be Social uses a nervous-system-first, neurodivergent-affirming approach.
This means we are not just looking at behavior from the outside.
We are looking at what may be happening underneath, including anxiety, overwhelm, masking, demand sensitivity, social confusion, stress, and the pressure to keep up.
The goal is not to make students act more “social.” The goal is to help them build awareness, confidence, and real-life tools in a way that feels respectful, supportive, and doable.

📚 Did you know?

Early support after trauma can make a life-changing difference for a child.

Without the right support, traumatic experiences can affect how children think, feel, and interact with the world around them. But when children receive trauma-informed therapy early, they gain tools that help them move forward in healthy ways.

Therapy can help children:
• Understand their emotions
• Build healthy coping skills
• Regain a sense of safety
• Strengthen relationships at home and school

At A Child’s Light, we believe every child deserves the chance to heal and build a brighter future. 💛
