Congratulations to Katelyn Redlinger ’23 on being named the 3rd Battalion Commander of the 187th Regiment at Virginia Military Institute for the 2026-27 academic year.

Katelyn shared that she chose VMI to challenge herself academically and athletically while developing the discipline and integrity needed for a future career in the Army. Following graduation, she plans to commission as an Army cyber officer and pursue a master’s degree in computer science.
