On Sept. 29 at 3 p.m., discover how Magna provides AP students with rubric-based feedback on free-response work in seconds, supporting skills from experimental design and quantitative reasoning to written argumentation.

Known by many as the heartbeat of the school, Tammy approaches every task with warmth, professionalism, and a willingness to help. Join us for Transitioning Beyond High School, a free one-hour pre-event program ahead of the 2026 Chester County College Fair, Monday, October 12 from 5:00 – 6:30 p.m. at United Sports in Downingtown.

Enrollment for the 2026-27 Chester County Spelling Bee is now open! Join us to participate in the nation’s longest-running educational competition.

The Chester County Spelling Bee is coordinated by the Chester County Intermediate Unit (CCIU) and is a qualifying bee for the Scripps National Spelling Bee.

The bee is open to all students enrolled in a Chester County public, private, parochial, or home school through eighth grade who meet Scripps' requirements for participation and whose schools register with the Chester County Intermediate Unit.

Participating schools will inspire the love of learning and help their students...
- Inspire a love of learning and language
- Strengthen spelling, vocabulary, and public-speaking skills
- Build confidence, poise, and teamwork
- Give students the chance to shine locally and nationally!

Please note that we cannot accommodate individual spellers. Registration must be done through the sending school. Please contact us [email protected] to see if your school is enrolled.

Jessica Bowers, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with , works alongside children, families, preschool special education programs, and Head Start teams to identify each child's unique strengths and needs. By looking beyond behavior and understanding what a child is trying to communicate, she helps develop meaningful strategies that build independence, communication skills, and confidence.

For Jessica, the most rewarding part of her role is watching children grow and make progress. While some achievements may seem small from the outside, they can be life changing for a child and their family.

Through the CCIU's ABA Clinic, Jessica and her colleagues work to honor each child's individuality while helping them develop the skills and tools needed to navigate the world in ways that work for them.
