Happily exhausted after an amazing Author Fest 2025!
A huge thank you to our incredible authors—Lindsay Currie, Nancy Churnin, and Barb Rosenstock—for delivering 27 unforgettable presentations across all 11 Downers Grove District 58 elementary schools.
I’m so grateful to the dedicated teacher librarians, school administrators, PTAs, the DG Area Council PTA, the 58 Foundation and the Author Fest committee for making this event such a success.
A big thank you to Anderson’s Bookshop for hosting a packed book signing—it was pure joy to see books flying off the shelves and kids proudly introducing their parents to their favorite authors.
It’s truly an honor to chair such a meaningful event for our community.
