This past weekend, we sold ALL of our reactive steel training targets, target stands and our mobile training range equipment trailer!

After 3 decades of traveling across the country to dozens of various range facilities to run our training programs, it is surreal to see our range equipment storage CONEX and equipment trailer EMPTY!

While it is the end of an Amazing era for us here at Spartan Tactical, I’ve attached some cool photos of our equipment and range set-ups from over the years. Enjoy and stay safe. – Krup

As we finish our FINAL training season at the ASC and prepare to close our Training Division at the end of the year, I’d like to take a moment to thank the ASC for hosting our training programs as part of the club’s Guest Instructor Program.

It has been an amazing experience to serve our club members with professional training programs as well as the opportunity to represent the best interests of our club, SADEC and our 2A community.

Thank You to our club Board members for this opportunity as well as all of the club members that supported us and participated in our training programs at the ASC over the years.

From all of our training staff here at Spartan Tactical, we wish the best to all of you and your families and I’m sure we’ll run into many of you on the range again soon.

Spartans – As we start the process of phasing out our steel training target inventory, we will be selling all (4) of our Safe Direction / Ravelin steel rotator targets. These reactive targets are r***e rated and can be engaged with pistol rounds, birdshot, buckshot and r***e projectiles under 3,200 FPS.

For our 11th Annual Spartan Alumni training weekend this year, we had 28 Spartan Alumni attend the course. This year we ran a 2-day Peak Performance Handgun Training Symposium at the ASC range in Waterman, Illinois on August 29 – 30, 2026, with Pat Montinola selected by the group as our 2026 Ultimate Spartan Award winner!

Our Most Improved Shooter Awards for 2026 were awarded to Harold Pantaleon and Kara Beth Vance.

At the Alumni dinner that weekend, I was honored by our Alumni with the surprise presentation of retirement gifts as I prepare to close our training division at the end of the year.

Thank you to everyone that attended our final Alumni shoot this year and I appreciate all the kind words, best wishes and wonderful retirement gifts I have received.
