What a battle! The Roadrunners lose a five-set heartbreaker by the narrowest of margins in the final tilt of the Sonny Lewis Invitational. SMC is now 3-7 overall on the non-con season, with a full 10 days until their next competitive match.

They'll prepare for the Green and Gold Scrimmage at the 1st Source Bank Fieldhouse on Thursday, 9/3 and then host the Muskegon Jayhawks in the home opener on Tuesday, 9/8.

SMC discharged the Chargers of Edison State in four sets today 25-16, 25-13, 19-25 and 25-22 to earn their third win of the season.

While, as proud Roadrunners, we cannot condone Wile E. Coyote’s decades-long persecution of our speedy colleague, we support Mr. Coyote’s right to reasonable protection from hazardous products and devices allegedly sold by ACME Corporation.

We hope with this endeavor Mr. Coyote can find some measure of satisfaction that will enable him to leave the Roadrunner to run freely for the foreseeable future.

- Thursday, 9/3 at 5:00p for the Green and Gold Scrimmage
