Lung cancer is one of the most common forms of cancer and accounts for almost ⅕ of cancer related deaths globally. Here are a few things that you can do today in honor of World Lung Cancer Day:

Understand the risk factors for lung cancer
Learn about lung cancer screenings, which is recommended for individuals at high risk for lung cancer.
Join the fight against lung cancer by contacting local officials and urging them to support research and efforts towards fighting lung cancer.
