I might be exposing myself here but I think it's worth a moment. What do you do when you have a new client that sends you a picture of nail art that you don't think you can achieve? Say no in fear and lose a potential long-term client? Say yes but then underperform and risk her not coming back/leaving negative feedback? No. Have a realistic conversation. Know your skill set, set boundaries + expectations. The inspiration picture that this new client sent me was very clearly the Louis Vuitton logo as a decal/sticker or a stamp. I don't have that in my nail art kit (shocking that I actually don't have something) but I do know that I'm pretty decent at line work and copying images. So before this client came in I let her know that it was probably a decal that I don't have, but I could totally try to paint it by hand, but if it didn't work out would she be okay with a different design? Expectations were set, I gave it the ol college try, and damn it came out pretty good!! Was I shaking in my boots the whole time? Yes!! But when I kind of nailed it it felt awesome and we were both pleasantly surprised. If I had just said no out of the gate for of fear of failure, I could have lost a client. (Who was so awesome, btw). Don't: say no out of fear or over promise and underperform
Do: know your skills, set expectations; you can't fail.

I feel like alot of pros may have missed the release of 15 new shades to Shellac collection back around March when the pandemic erupted. This shade is called Brazen, and I looooove it for Fall. I bought mine on Premier Nail Source online a while ago. The other 14 shades don't disappoint either my favs are Whisper, Phantom, Temptation, and Chandelier. I saw some on website as well. If you see them anywhere else, let me know! I want to stockpile them! 🤣✨
