On Tuesday, October 24, DSU Music Program’s Instructor of Percussion Stephen Tipping performed with the percussionists of the Delaware Symphony Orchestra on the second Chamber Concert of the season; The Percussionists of the DSO. Stephen was the featured guest performing on steel pan and speaking to the sold-out crowd at the DuPont Country Club Ballroom in Wilmington, DE. Stephen joined the DSO percussionists William Kerrigan, Thomas Blanchard, and timpanist Bill Wozniak on quartet pieces including David Skidmore’s Ritual Music, Owen Condon’s Fractalia, and Christopher Rouse’s Ku-Ka-Ilimoko.
