Calling all Classical Conversations students who are history buffs!
The U.S. Department of Education has launched the history competition of a lifetime: The Presidential 1776 Award! The contest tests student knowledge of the road to independence, the American Revolutionary War, and the ideas that shaped our nation. Open to high schoolers, it includes a first-round online exam (The Impossible Civics Test), in-person regional semifinals, and a nationally-broadcast final in Washington, D.C. Deadline to register is fast approaching 2/21/26.
