🍕🏖️ What a way to wrap up summer school at Dover South! Students celebrated their hard work with hands-on learning stations in the gym, painting, popsicle science experiments, Father's Day crafts, popsicle math, and sandcastle building! 🎨🧮

They finished the day with a pizza party and recess with friends. 🌪️

This hands-on camp is open to all incoming 7th and 8th-grade students for the 2026-2027 school year and offers a unique opportunity to explore careers in manufacturing through real-world experiences and interactive activities.

📍 Location: Buckeye Career Center

Students will:
• Participate in hands-on manufacturing activities
• Explore career pathways in manufacturing
• Gain real-world experience from industry professionals

👔 The Guys with Dover Ties showed up in a BIG way for our end-of-school-year staff celebration!

From warm greetings to setting up BINGO boards and tickets, they made sure our staff felt celebrated. Plus, they got to share breakfast with some truly amazing teachers and staff! 🍳

Beth Mathews, Intervention Specialist and Varsity Volleyball Coach at Dover High School, is retiring after 35 years in education, including 34 years at Dover City Schools.

One of Beth's fondest memories was guiding the Lady Tornado Volleyball team to its first Regional Championship in 1996 and having the privilege of coaching in the program's first-ever Final Four appearance. 🏐🌪️

As she begins retirement, Beth looks forward to spending more time with family and friends, focusing on her health, and enjoying the activities she loves most.

Thank you, Beth, for your decades of dedication to Dover students, athletes, and families. Your impact on our school community will be felt for years to come. We wish you all the best in retirement! 👏❤️

From being Custodian for the Day, Principal for the Day, or Secretary for the Day, to enjoying Desserts First before school, Football and Fitness sessions, Coffee and Karaoke, and Polar Pop and Walk adventures—our students and teachers created memories that will last a lifetime! ❤️

A familiar face in the building, Mrs. Margletta has served as assistant principal for the past three years and brings 22 years of experience in education, including 18 years in Dover City Schools.

As a Dover graduate, longtime educator, and dedicated leader, she knows the students, staff, and community well. Dover City Schools looks forward to the leadership and experience she will bring to this new role. Congratulations, Mrs. Margletta! 👏

🦖 No end-of-the-year slump here! Mrs. Robinson's second graders at Dover East dove into paleontology the last week of May.

By studying real fossils and comparing them to living organisms, these young scientists uncovered what our world looked like long ago. We love seeing our Tornadoes explore, discover, and learn! 🌪️❤️
