Students with an interest in music join the studio to gain confidence, improve their singing skills, get performing experience, and have fun! Some students join the studio for guidance before auditions, and preparation for music in college. Others join for a form of self-expression, to strengthen their voice, and to take a break from the rigors of a busy life! Erin works with all styles and genres
of music, from Pop to Classical, Musical Theatre to Opera, Folk to Jazz and more. Erin holds a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance and Education, and a Master's degree in Voice Performance. She has taught in schools in Michigan, Iowa, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire and her former students are studying, teaching, and performing music across the country. Erin works with each student to create a healthy vocal technique that can be transferred to any style of singing. Erin is thorough in examining all parts of the students voice, posture, and presentation and will offer recommendations, exercises, and repertoire to address areas for improvement. Erin offers performance opportunities throughout the year, and as a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing, students have the option of competing in additional contests and competitions.
