Congratulations to Elijah Sutton, who was named the YAIAA Division II Boys Basketball Player of the Year. Elijah reached the 1000 point plateau this season, serving as a leader on and off the court. Congratulations also go out to Keith Davis and Victor Dorm, who were both named as YAIAA Division II Second Team All Stars.

Due to the forecast for pending inclement weather tomorrow, all district events and building use is cancelled for tomorrow, Sunday, March 3rd. This includes the 2:00PM performance of Back to the 80s tomorrow. Anyone who has pre-purchased tickets to the Sunday performance may use those tickets for today’s performances at either 2:00PM or 7:00PM. Ticket exchanges today will be available until 30 minutes before show time; after that time, we cannot guarantee availability for today’s performances. Information about refunds for those who are unable to attend one of today’s shows and pre-purchased tickets for Sunday, or information about possibly rescheduling the performance will be forthcoming. We thank you for your support of our students and apologize for any inconvenience.

We are collecting socks this week to help those in need. Socks are the most needed item in homeless shelters, particularly during the winter season. Consider donating new socks this week and help us “fill our boxes with soxes” to help those in need!

DAHS is hosting the Fox43 Game of the Week! Friday night, October 19th, the Eagles host Gettysburg at 7PM. Fox43 will be doing live shots on their 4PM and 5PM broadcasts, and will be broadcasting Football Frenzy live from Dover at 6PM. Come out and join us as we cheer our Eagles on!

This week our students traveled to Leib Elementary for the first visit of the Adopt-a-Classroom program. The program was created by a DAHS student who wanted a way to reach and support our students prior to entering high school. Each month our DAHS student teams will visit Leib Elementary to work with students, provide support in the classroom, and foster positive relationships. This month, our students visited their classrooms for morning meetings and to meet each student.
