CDC Preschool is looking for a Toddler/Preschool teacher to work Mondays 8:00-1:00 and the occasional substitute hours. More hours may come available. This is a perfect position for a parent looking for extra spending money, a student studying early childhood, or a former teacher looking to get back into teaching. Oliver Poe, one of our alumni, has reached out to us regarding a charitable project he is working on. He is collecting gently used soccer cleats to donate to Project Just Because, which serves families around the state. He really loves soccer and wants to help kids who want to play but can't afford all the gear.
As you are cleaning out in the new year and you have soccer cleats your kids may have outgrown, consider donating them to Oliver's project. We have a box located across from my office. This will run through March 1st. They are collecting all sizes, child through adult.

We are looking for an EEC qualified Preschool Teacher who is energetic, nurturing and creative to aid in daily routine and curriculum implementation of a preschool classroom. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting with projects, snack and meal times, social skills guidance, daily classroom preparations and most of all have fun interacting with young children as they learn and grow.
Hours are 8-1 Mondays thru Fridays. More hours may be offered at a later time.
Qualifications and Skills:
EEC Certified Infant/Toddler/Preschool Teacher preferred but not required.
Requirements:
Must be physically able lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors. Must be able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children.
CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
