🧦On Monday, March 23rd, Star Hill Elementary School will “Rock Our Socks” in honor of World Down Syndrome Day, celebrated every year on March 21st. Our student council will be selling socks in the compass from 8:30-9:00 every morning this week. Socks are $2 a pair and are one size fits all.🧦
Congratulations to Mrs. Pickett’s 3rd grade class!
Their class was selected as the Kent County winner in the DelDOT Snow Plow Naming Contest! ❄️🚜 The winning name — “No Mo Snow” — is now proudly displayed on one of DelDOT’s snow plows.
Members of the DelDOT crew stopped by to celebrate with the students, bringing along some awesome DelDOT swag and a special magnet featuring the snow plow’s new name.
Great job to Mrs. Pickett’s class for their creativity and community spirit. Keep an eye out this winter for “No Mo Snow” helping keep our roads clear! 👏❄️
