Our very own Kayla P was selected today to serve as the 2025-2026 Delaware State FFA Reporter! She has spent months prepping for the interview process, the last 3 days immersed in the intensive interview process, and the last 6 years as a member/officer of the CHS FFA leading up to this moment.
This is a huge deal and honor- there has not been a state officer chosen from Christiana since 1998- 27 years ago!
We are so proud of her and know she will make make our school community proud as she leaves her impact on Delaware FFA.
We were also thrilled to bring 6 other students (Madeline P, Aubrey C, Alecia V, Bennett B, Declan M, Adolfo S) to participate in various state-wide community service projects including eradicating invasive plant species at White Clay Creek, making dog toys for shelter animals, and packing goody bags for local veterans.
Finally, Emma P represented our chapter's voice and served on the nominating committee that elected the next state officer team. They spent the last 3 days in a room with the rest of the committee interviewing the candidates.
