Christiana HS & MSHA FFA

Our very own Kayla P was selected today to serve as the 2025-2026 Delaware State FFA Reporter! She has spent months prepping for the interview process, the last 3 days immersed in the intensive interview process, and the last 6 years as a member/officer of the CHS FFA leading up to this moment.

This is a huge deal and honor- there has not been a state officer chosen from Christiana since 1998- 27 years ago!

We are so proud of her and know she will make make our school community proud as she leaves her impact on Delaware FFA.

We were also thrilled to bring 6 other students (Madeline P, Aubrey C, Alecia V, Bennett B, Declan M, Adolfo S) to participate in various state-wide community service projects including eradicating invasive plant species at White Clay Creek, making dog toys for shelter animals, and packing goody bags for local veterans.

Finally, Emma P represented our chapter's voice and served on the nominating committee that elected the next state officer team. They spent the last 3 days in a room with the rest of the committee interviewing the candidates.

We had a great convention!! Thank you all for your continued support!

Our chapter donated poinsettias raised by our students to the Little Sisters of the Poor in Newark and the Marydale Retirement community. We love supporting the community that supports us 🤍

Thank you Marini Produce & Christmas Trees for your donation of your tree cuttings to our ag program! The students participated in holiday wreath making before our winter break

Thank you Vince for presenting to our district CTE teachers this morning! Vince shared about what FFA and some of the opportunities that Christiana FFA has given him.

This past Monday we took a trip down to the Delaware State Fair to volunteer at the Grange, and to learn more about the agriculture in our state. The weather was nice and we had a great time!

Well done Lori, Maddy, Aero, and Jared for your hard work preparing and competing in the Horse Evaluation CDE! As a team they placed 7th in the state and had to judge various classes of horses of varying ages and purposes, as well as give a detailed list of reasons to a judge for why they placed them the way they did. No horsin’ around from these kids! 🐴👍🏼
