We are going to learn to sew. The boys are making shorts and the girs sre making skirts. First, we measured each other. Next, we put our measurements on tissue paper and connected the lines. We had completed our tasks for this time. We also chose what color material we wanted. At our next class, we will cut out our pattern and begin to sew.

On behalf of the faculty of Strait Path Academy, we would like to sincerely thank everyone that was able to attend our end of year program/graduation. We are extremely proud of all our students and they have learned so much this school year. We especially want to thank all the parents for entrusting us with your children each day as they learn about developing a personal relationship with our Heavenly Father along with their other school subjects. We look forward to our upcoming school year and please keep all our students, their families and our community in your prayers.

Happy New Year!! Our first field trip of the new year was the North Carolina History Center in New Bern. We watched the ducks swimming as we walked on the bridge. After that, we ate lunch at Union Point Park. It was a fun day!!!
