✨ Meet our Clara! ✨

We’re thrilled to announce that Camilla Palmer will dance the role of Clara in this year’s Nutcracker! 🎄

Camilla is a homeschool student from New Hampshire who has dreamed of dancing alongside the professional dancers and UNH dance students who perform with NBT, and now she is! She’s especially excited for her scenes with the Snow Queen ❄️ and the Nutcracker Prince 👑.

“Clara is the heart of The Nutcracker. Camilla brings warmth, poise and genuine joy to the role.” — Edra Toth, Artistic Director and former Boston Ballet prima ballerina

What sets our studio apart isn't just the training — it's the community we've built. Our teachers know every dancer by name, our families cheer each other on, and every class feels like a welcoming space to grow. This is what makes Northeastern Ballet Theatre home for so many dancers.

Meet Edra Toth, founder and Artistic Director of Northeastern Ballet Theatre and former prima ballerina with the Boston Ballet Company. In 1998 she chose to build her company here in New Hampshire's Lakes Region, rather than in a major city, so local dancers wouldn't have to leave home to find professional-caliber training. Your sponsorship helps carry that vision forward for the next generation of dancers.

We love sharing a behind-the-scenes look at rehearsal! Here's a short clip of one of the classes working through their choreography — so much artistry happening in the studio this season.

Our fall session offers classes for every age and experience level. We'd love to welcome your dancer to the studio!

Growth in dance isn't always dramatic — often it's the small, steady improvements that add up over time: a cleaner line, better balance, more confidence in the room. We see it every week, and we love celebrating it.
