💙🚓 A BIG Thank You to the Dover Police Department! 🚓💙
Today, our friends from the Dover Police Department stopped by Growing Sprouts Early Learning Center for a special visit! Our children had an amazing time learning about police officers, asking questions, exploring the police vehicles, and even getting the chance to become Junior Cadets for the day! 👮‍♂️👮‍♀️✨
Experiences like these help our little ones build positive relationships with the officers who work hard every day to keep our community safe. The smiles, excitement, and curiosity on their faces said it all!
Thank you, Dover PD, for taking the time to visit, educate, and create such wonderful memories for our children. We truly appreciate everything you do for our community! 💙🚔

Yesterday was Italian Water Ice Day! 🍧☀️
Our friends enjoyed a delicious Italian water ice treat from Rita's to help beat the summer heat! It was the perfect way to cool off while sharing smiles, laughter, and a fun afternoon together. We love creating special memories and giving our little learners exciting experiences to enjoy with their friends.

🌈 Skittles Science Fun! 🌈
Our preschoolers had a blast exploring a colorful Skittles science experiment! The children carefully arranged Skittles in a circle on their plates, then added warm water and watched in amazement as the colors dissolved and spread toward the center, creating beautiful rainbow patterns.
This hands-on activity encouraged the children to:
🌈 Observe color mixing and patterns
🔬 Practice making predictions and observations
🧠 Build early science and critical thinking skills
👀 Strengthen patience and attention as they watched the experiment unfold

Another wonderful science experience in our classroom! 🥚🧪
Today our little scientists explored the Egg vs. Vinegar Experiment! The children carefully placed eggs into cups of vinegar and will observe what happens over the next 24 hours. As the vinegar reacts with the eggshell, it dissolves the shell, leaving behind a squishy, bouncy "naked egg."
This fun hands-on experiment introduces children to science concepts like chemical reactions, observation, prediction, and osmosis while encouraging curiosity and critical thinking.
