All fall sports practices will begin on August 12th. In order to practice you will need to bring the following paperwork to the office: completed physical (the form is on the website), CHSAA parent permission for athletic participation, DCHS/MS handbook and extracurricular activities form, and, for high school athletes the sports fee. Once you turn in all paperwork and sport fee you will receive a blue card that you will give to your coach. You must have a blue card to practice. All forms can be found at dc2j.org. The high school office will be open for you to receive your blue card beginning August 5th.

We have increased our sports fees for the 2024/2025 school year. This is for high school athletes only. Middle school does not require sports fee to participate.
$50.00 a sport per student
$100.00 maximum per student
$150.00 maximum per family

Important dates for ms/hs fall sports:
8/8- HS Cheer parents meeting 4:30 at HS commons
8/8- MS Cheer parents meeting 5:00 at HS commons
8/12- MS Football practice at 5:00 meet at practice field
8/12- HS Football practice at 4:30 meet at HS commons
8/12-MS Volleyball parent meeting at 4:00 at elementary gym, practice to follow
8/12-HS Volleyball practice at 4:00 HS gym
8/12- MS Cheer practice at 6:00 HS commons
8/12-HS Cheer practice at 6:00 HS gym

We finished off the last afternoon at State track with a few more medals. Cody Alexendar ran well in the 300m hurdles and placed 6th. The boys 4x100 relay moved up a few spots and finished 6th (Colten Fury, Aiden Chadd, Jonathan Davis, and Josh Kibel). And the boys 4x400 relay placed 8th (Colten Fury, Cody Alexander, Daniel Gray, and Jonathan Davis). Good job, everyone!

DC has had a strong showing this Saturday morning at State track. Ralynn Hickman took 2nd place in the long jump with a jump of 15’6.25”. And Cody Alexander placed 3rd in the 110m hurdles with a PR of 16.54 seconds. Great job, Ralynn and Cody! (More videos are in the comments)

We had a good first two days at the State track meet. Colten Fury placed 5th in long jump with a jump of 19’6.5”. Sheldon Gardner threw shot put after having played in the semifinal baseball game earlier the same day. And on Friday, our boys 4x800 team (Colten Fury, Cody Alexander, Mason Forst, and Jonathan Davis) placed 6th and broke the school record set last year. Great job, athletes!l
