We would like to thank Connor Boatright for representing FSMS during the county's chess tournament earlier this month. Connor participated in the DCSS 2026 Scholastic Chess Championship and enjoyed the experience. There were 48 participants, and he finished in 7th place at the tournament. We are proud of his progress at Factory Shoals Middle School.
